Tote Bag
What is a tote bag? The dictionary definition of a tote bag is a
carryall: a capacious bag or basket. A large handbag or shopping bag.
These days the humble tote bag is available in a multitude of
colours and shapes, zipper tops, different kinds of linings, different
fabrics, whereas it used to be your regular tote bag made from just two
square pieces of medium weight cotton fabric with a web handle.
Nowadays, the tote bag is produced in a myriad of different fabrics,
materials, shapes and sizes. More traditional materials are cotton,
nylon, canvas and leather. Some of the newer totes are made of vinyl,
mesh and even combination materials such as vylon (vinyl-backed nylon).
What’s a tote bag used for? Well, as we say at Slingfings, Flip It
Flap it Flop It, Go with it Funkster! A tote bag can be used to carry
any number of things. Its most important attribute is its flexibility.
It’s the kind of bag that gets used over and over in day-to-day living.
People really just want something that is one big compartment that they
